Plus gros, plus intelligent, plus anguleux. Le nouveau smartphone de Huawei, le P Smart 2019, peut être décrit avec ces trois mots. Les performances sont en forte hausse, et l’appareil est équipé de la dernière version d’Android (9.0 Pie). Cependant, nous avons détecté divers défauts déjà présents chez le prédécesseur.

Scintillement / MLI (Modulation de largeur d'impulsion)

Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. La fréquence à laquelle le rétroéclairage s'éteint et se rallume est normalement fixée à une valeur qui permet de rendre la variation indétectable à l'œil nu? Si la fréquence est trop basse, certaines personnes peuvent être sujettes à une fatigue oculaire, des maux de tête ou même percevoir les variations.

En comparaison, 52 % des appareils testés n'emploient pas MDI pour assombrir leur écran. Nous avons relevé une moyenne à 9821 (minimum : 43 - maximum : 142900) Hz dans le cas où une MDI était active.

Temps de réponse de l'écran

Le temps de réponse d'un écran mesure la rapidité à laquelle l'écran est capable de changer une couleur pour une autre. Un temps de réponse élevé se traduit par une image floutée pour les objets en mouvement. Les joueurs bénéficieront de faibles latences d'affichage en jeu.

Au premier abord, le Huawei P Smart 2019 semble être meilleur que son prédécesseur dans tous les domaines. Il est plus grand, possède plus d’espace de stockage ainsi qu’un SoC puissant. De plus, il paraît moderne et possède de plus petites bordures d’écran.

Pour un faible prix, le Huawei P Smart 2019 est un smartphone puissant qui devrait satisfaire beaucoup d’utilisateurs.

Les clients ne peuvent pas vraiment se tromper avec ce smartphone à 250 €, mais il faut connaître ses faiblesses. Son autonomie est plus courte d’une heure par rapport au modèle précédent, malgré sa plus grosse batterie. L’appareil photo fait des images médiocres, mais pourra suffire dans un certain nombre de cas. Les applis et jeux classiques tourneront sans souci - même si l’appareil connaît un throttling conséquent avec les applis les plus exigeantes.
