Intel N280

Le Intel Atom N280 est un CPU pour netbook cadencé à 1.66 GHz. Le core Atom est conçu pour consommer peu et être pas cher. mais il est moins puissant à fréquence égale. Avec l'Hyper-Threading, deux processeurs sont gérés, ce qui compense la vitesse.

Les performance du N280 sont comparable aux 1.2-1.3 GHz des Celeron M donc à peine suffisant pour la bureautique et le surf. Comparé au N270, le N280 n'est que marginalement plus puissant.

Avec sa gravure en 45nm et sa petite taille, la consommation est très faible (2.5 Watt TDP). Le CPU n'as pas besoin d'un gros système de ventilation donc pratique dans les portables silencieux.
