AMD C-60

Le AMD C-60 (nom de code Ontario) est un dual core pour petit portables. Il possède une carte graphique relativement puissante et un contrôleur mémoire single channel DDR3(L)-1066. Comparé au C-50, le C-60 possède la même fréquence de base mais avec un Turbo Core qui le fait monter à 1.33 GHz.

Dans le C-60 deux coeurs Bobcat accèdent à un cache de niveau de de 512KB par coeur. Comparé aux Atom, l'architecture Bobcat utilise une exécution "out-of-order" donc il est plus rapide à fréquence égale. Mais on est loin derrière les Penryn (Celeron) ou Danube (Athlon II).

Le GPU intégré AMD Radeon HD 6290 possède 80 shaders et un module vidéo UVD3. Comparé à la GMA 3150 du Atom, la HD6290 est aussi puissant que la solution Nvidia ION. Comparé à la HD 6250 du C-50, la 6290 supporte aussi le Turbo Core pour overclocker à 400MHz (même vitesse de base de 276MHz).

Les performances sont entre un 1.6 GHz Atom N455 mono-core et un dual core Atom N550 selon le benchmark (voir en dessous). Donc les performances sont adaptées à de petits netbooks.

Le TDP de 9 Watt annoncé par AMD est un peu au dessus des Atom à 1.6 GHz mono-core.
