Afin d'abaisser la luminosité de l'écran, certains ordinateurs portables font varier très rapidement le rétroéclairage entre éteint et allumé. Le Motorola Moto G 5G Plus intègre de très bons composants, tels une grosse batterie et un puissant SoC Snapdragon 765. Cependant, il y a beaucoup de critiques à faire sur le dernier-né de la série Moto G, malgré son petit prix de 350 €.

Le design est certainement une question de goût, mais le double poinçon est quelque peu gênant, d'autant que la qualité du capteur ultra-grand-angle à selfies le rend inutile. Les modules photo restants sont également moyens, même pour ce niveau de prix. L'expérience tactile est ternie par les éléments en plastique de l'appareil et l'épais châssis, rendu nécessaire par l'appareil d'une très grosse batterie de 5000 mAh. L'autonomie ne tire pas profit de cette capacité, la marge de progression dans la gestion de la consommation étant importante.

Le Moto G 5G Plus s'avère être un bon smartphone du milieu de gamme. Mais quelques défauts gâchent l'impression générale donnée par le smartphone Motorola...

Les performances peu stables de l'appareil sont une surprise. Au quotidien, elles sont satisfaisantes, et grâce à l'acran 90 Hz l'expérience est bonne et fluide, mais avec seulement 4 Go de RAM, le Snapdragon 765 de notre modèle possède des chutes de performances étonnamment fréquentes, si bien que les performances de jeu du SoC Qualcomm du Moto G 5G Plus, avec Adreno, sont vraiment mauvaises.
