Qualcomm SD 765

Le Snapdragon 765 de Qualcomm (plate-forme mobile SD765) est un SoC rapide de milieu de gamme basé sur l'ARM que l'on trouve en grande partie sur les tablettes et les smartphones Android. Il intègre huit cœurs (octa-core, appelé Kryo 475) répartis en deux groupes. Une grappe à performances rapides contient deux cœurs ARM Cortex-A76 cadencés à 2,3 GHz (cœur principal) et 2,2 GHz (cœur en or) et une grappe à rendement énergétique avec six petits cœurs ARM Cortex-A55 cadencés à 1,8 GHz. En fonction de la charge de travail, un seul groupe ou tous les groupes peuvent fonctionner à des vitesses d'horloge différentes.

Par rapport au Snapdragon 765G, optimisé pour les jeux, le 765 offre une vitesse d'horloge inférieure de -100 MHz sur le cœur principal et un GPU moins cadencé.

Les performances du processeur sont tout à fait comparables à celles de l'ancien Snapdragon 730G. Seules les performances du cœur unique peuvent être légèrement améliorées, grâce au cœur principal plus cadencé.

La puce est l'un des premiers SoCs qui intègrent un modem 5G. Elle s'appelle Snapdragon X52 et supporte des vitesses allant jusqu'à 3,7 / 1,6 Mbps (en aval et en amont) et mmWave et Sub-6.

L'Adreno 620 intégré offre des performances inférieures de 16,7 % à celles du même GPU de la SD 768G et ne dispose pas de certaines des fonctions de jeu du logiciel.

Le moteur d'IA intégré utilise le GPU, le CPU et des cœurs dédiés pour atteindre une performance maximale théorique d'environ 5,5 TOPS (valeur de la SD 768G, légèrement plus rapide).

Le processeur est fabriqué selon le procédé EUV 7 nm, moderne et économe en énergie, chez Samsung.
