Le SSD Intel 600p est une incursion de l’entrée de gamme abordable dans le monde des SSD NVMe. Dans les tests de lecture séquentielle, il peut utiliser sa connexion rapide, et dans le test PCMark 8, qui est plus proche des conditions réelles d’utilisation, il arrive dans le peloton de tête des SSD que nous avons testé. Nous constatons de légères faiblesses dans les performances 4K, où il ne peut que suivre les SSD SATA les plus rapides. Dans l’ensemble, nous considérons que le SSD d’Intel est légèrement supérieur à un SSD SATA rapide.

La consommation réduite devrait bénéficier aux ordinateurs portables. De plus, sa variante à 512 Go est disponible sur Amazon aux alentours de 185 €. Cela le rend plutôt attractif, par rapport aux lecteurs SATA M.2 (le Samsung 850 EVO M.2 de 500 Go est disponible à environ 178 €).
