AMD A4-3300M

Le AMD A4-3300M (Nom de code Llano) est un dual-core d'entrée de gamme pour portable. Il fait partie de la famille Fusion des APU (=Accelerated Processing Units) avec une Radeon HD 6480G intégrée. Le processeur est cadencé à 1.9 GHz de base et peut monter à 2.5 GHz (TurboCore, selon les conditions de refroidissement).

Le cœur de processeur est basée lui-même sur une architecture Husky 12h. Comparé aux Phenom II mobiles, le coeur Husky est très proche avec l'adjonction d'un module de division. Mais les perforamnces au Mhz sont proches d'un Turion II, Athlon II, Phenom II mobile (les APU Llano ne possèdent pas de cache de niveau 3).

Les performance sont proches d'un Athlon II M320. Avec TurboCore, les performances sur processeur seul seront supérieurs à la moyenne comparé aux processus multi-tâches. Donc on est bien en dessous de la gamme Sandy Bridge (loin derrière un Core i3-2310M).

Les APU Llano supportent DirectX 11 sur un maximum de 400 cores. La AMD Radeon HD 6480G de la série A4 ne possède que 240 cores à 444MHz. Ce GPU n'as pas accès au cache du CPU et ne possède aucune mémoire dédiée (à la différence des Intel HD 3000). Cet APU possède un module UVD3 vidéo pour décoder quasiment tout les formats (comme le H.264, VC-1, MPEG4).

Le A4-3300M possède un mémoire contrôleur dual-channel avec support pour DDR3(L)-1333 et un contrôleur PCIe 2.0.

Le TDP de 35 Watt du APU (avec le GPU et le contrôleur mémoire) le rend adapté pour les portables 14 pouces et 15 pouces.
