Intel Celeron M P4600

Intel P4600

Le Intel Celeron P4600 est un CPU bas de gamme pour portables. Il est cadencé à 2 GHz et ne supporte pas TurboBoost. De plus il n'y a ni AES instructions ni hyperthreading. Le CPU supporte Enhanced Speedstep, mais certaines autres fonctions d'économie d'énergie ont été désactivées. Les Pentium P6100 de la même fréquences seroint plus puissant grâce au cache L3 et au QPI link plus rapide. De plus ce CPU ne supporte pas les fonctions VT-x Virtualization.

Le P4600 est un CPU Arrandale donc possède sur sa puce un contrôleur DDR3 et le iGPU Intel HD Graphics (fabriqués en 45nm, le CPU reste gravé en 32nm). La GMA HD est cadencée à 500MHz et s'overclock à 766MHz avec Turbo Boost (GPU seul).

Les performances sont assez faibles, avec une fréquence ridicule et sans Turbo Boost ni Hyperthreading. Mais les performances au Ghz seront supérieures à celles du Core 2 Duo grâce au contrôleur mémoire intégré.
