Lenovo positionne plutôt bien son Yoga C740-14 sur le marché actuel. Il coûte plusieurs centaines de dollars de moins que le Dell XPS 13 7390 2-en-1 et que l’Asus ZenBook Flip 14, configuré avec la même quantité de RAM et de stockage, tout en ayant un plus grand écran que le HP Spectre x360 13. Cerise sur le gâteau, le Yoga C740 possède une allure haut de gamme que ne renierait pas les plus luxueux des ultraportables, alors qu’il coûte bien moins de 1 000 $. C’est un très bon entre-deux, si vous n’êtes pas un inconditionnel de la 4K, du Thunderbolt 3, ou des fonctionnalités Ice Lake.

Il y a néanmoins des défauts à signaler. Les fuites de lumière inégales modérées, l’écran plutôt peu lumineux, les couleurs mal calibrées en sortie d’usine, les touches molles du clavier, et le ventilateur aigu en cas de sollicitations rendent l’expérience un peu moins bonne qu’espérée. Mais cela reste un très bon convertible vu le prix, et qui vaut l’investissement supplémentaire quand on le compare à l’horrible HP Pavilion x360 ou au VivoBook Flip à petit prix.

Le Lenovo Yoga C740-14 est l’un des meilleurs convertibles de sa catégorie, parce qu’il ressemble de près à un appareil plus haut de gamme tout en coûtant moins cher.
