Intel Core 2 Duo P7550

Le Intel Core 2 Duo P7550 est un dual core pour portable. Il est cadencé à 2.26 GHz avec un cache de niveau 2 de 3 Mo. Il est proche du Core 2 Duo P8400 (avec Trusted Execution Technology, et VT-x) et du Core 2 Duo P7570.

Le P7550 est à égalité avec le Turion II Ultra à 2.4-2.6 GHz. Les jeux récents seront limités.On conseille au moins un Core i5 / i7 maintenant.

Le P7550 Penryn (Montevina) possède 2 unités de calcul d'intégrale, 1 unité de calcul à virgule flottante, 1 unité de chargement, et une unité de stockage avec un pipeline à 14 étapes. Grâce à la technologie Wide Dynamic Execution, le processeur supporte 4 coeurs.

Le Enhanced Speedstep permet de baisser à 800 MHz la fréquence pour économiser de l'énergie.
