Qualcomm S4 Plus MSM8930

Le Qualcomm MSM8930 (Snapdragon S4 Plus) est un SoC haut de gamme ARM pour Smartphone lancé en 2012. Il contient deux noyaux Krait (ARMv7) cadencés jusqu'à 1.2 GHz, une puce graphique Adreno 305 et un contrôleur mémoire LPDDR2 (jusqu'à 500 MHz). La puce est produite en 28nm LP (low power) par TSMC.
Face au MSM8960, le 8930 est cadencé plus bas, offre un contrôleur mémoire simple canal mais une meilleure puce graphique. Il comprend aussi des modules radios comme la LTE.

Les noyaux Krait offrent de meilleures performances que les noyaux standards Cortex-A9. Ils sont par ailleurs compatibles avec les extensions d'instructions NEON SIMD.
