Samsung 5260 Hexa

Le Samsung Exynos 5260 Hexa (aussi connu sous le nom d'Exynos 5 Hexa) est un SoC milieu de gamme ARM pour Smartphones et tablettes (principalement sous Android). Il comprend deux noyaux relativement véloce Cortex-A15 et quatre noyaux Cortex-A7 économes en énergie (ARM big.LITTLE). Les six noyaux peuvent (sur une courte période) travailler de concert afin d'améliorer les performances (GTS - Global Task Scheduling).

Qui plus est, la puce contient une carte graphique ARM Mali-T624, un contrôleur mémoire 32 Bit double canal 800 MHz LPDDR3 (12.8 Go/s) et un moteur vidéo intégré pour les formats H.264, MPEG4, et VP8 (encodage et décodage, jusqu'à 1080p à 60 fps/images par seconde). Grâce à l'eDP, le SoC est capable d'afficher sur des moniteurs PSR (panel self refresh/dalle auto rafraichissante) jusqu'à une résolution de 2560x1600 pixels.
