Qualcomm SD 765G

Le Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G (Plateforme Mobile SD765G) est un SOC ARM puissant du milieu de gamme présent sur les tablettes et smartphones Android. Il possède 8 cœurs (octocoeur, appelés Kryo 475) divisés en deux clusters. Un cluster rapide avec deux coeurs ARM Cortex-A76 monte à 2,4 GHz (premier coeur) et à 2,2 GHz (coeur Gold), et un cluster efficient avec six petits ARM Cortex-A55 monte à 1,8 GHz. En fonction des sollicitations, un seul cluster peut être utilisé, ou tous les coeurs tournant à des fréquences différentes.

Par rapport au Snapdragon 765, le 765G est optimisé pour les jeux. Cela signifie que la carte graphique est surcadencée et que la puce intègre des fonctionnalités logicielles en plus (Snapdragon Elite Gaming comme le Game Smoother, Game Fast Loader, et Game Network Latency Manager).

Les performances du processeur sont comparables à celles de l'ancien Snapdragon 730G. Seules les perofrmances monocoeur peuvent être légèrement meilleures, grâce à la fréquence supérieure du cœur principal (+200 MHz = 9 % plus puissant).

La puce est l'une des premières à intégrer un modem 5G. Il s'agit du Snapdragon X52, et peut monter à 3,7 et 1,6 Mbit/s (en réception et en envoi) et prend en charge le mmWave et le Sub-6.

L'Adreno 620 intégrée possède également une fréquence en hausse par rapport à celle du 765 classique, et devrait avoir des performances en hausse de 10 % (d'après QC).

Le moteur d'intelligence artificielle intégrée utilise le GPU, le CPU et des cœurs dédiés, afin d'atteindre des performances maximales théoriques de 5,5 TOPS.

Le processeur est gravé grâce au procédé récent et efficient en 7 nm EUV par Samsung.
