Qualcomm SD 675

Le Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 (SD675) est un SOC ARM puissant du milieu de gamme présent sur les tablettes et smartphones Android. Il possède 8 cœurs Kryo 460 (compatibles 64 bits) divisés en deux clusters. Un cluster rapide monte à 2 GHz (basé sur l'ARM Cortex-A76) et un cluster efficient monte à 1,6 GHz (basé sur l'ARM Cortex-A55 plus petit). Les deux clusters peuvent également être utilisés ensemble.

En plus de 8 cœurs CPU, le SoC intègre une puce graphique Adreno 612 du bas du milieu de gamme, un modem LTE X12 montant à 600 Mbit/s en réception (catégorie 12) et à 150 en envoi (catégorie 13), un modem 802.11ac (Wifi 5) Wave 2 WLAN (jusqu'à 867 Mbit/s), le Bluetooth 5.0, le positionnement par satellite (GPS, QZSS, GLONASS, SBAS, Beidou, Galileo) et une moteur vidéo (encodage jusqu'en 4K30 et compatibilité H.265, H.264, VP8 et VP9).

Performances

Grâce aux deux cœurs Cortex-A76 puissants, le SD675 est capable de battre l'ancien Snapdragon 835 haut de gamme dans certains tests. Le Snapdragon 670 moins puissant n'atteint que 70 ) 77 % de ses performances dans Geekbench 4.3 (tests mono - multicœur). Les SoCs haut de gammes du moment, comme le Snapdragon 855, sont cependant meilleurs de 50 à 70 %.

Le Snapdragon 675 est gravé en 11 nm LPP (Low Power Plus) par Samsung, ce qui est une combinaison de 14 et de 10 nm. Par rapport au 14 nm LPP, le 11 nm LPP devrait pouvoir augmenter ses performances de 15 %, et réduier la taille de la puce de 10 % d'après Samsung.
