Intel i3-8121U

L'Intel Core i3-8121U est un processeur double cœur économe en énergie d'entrée de gamme pour les portables. C'est le premier processeur d'Intel gravé en 10 nm, et basé sur la nouvelle architecture Cannon Lake. Il possède deux cœurs cadencés entre 2,2 (base) et 3,1 GHz (boost), et n'intègre pas de carte graphique (configuration 2+0 d'après Intel). Un contrôleur mémoire DDR4-2400 LPDDR$/x-2400 (double canal, 41,6 Go/s maximum, 32 Go maximum) est intégré au CPU.

Les premiers tests montrent des performances similaires à l'Intel Core i3-8130U à la fréquence plus élevée (2,2 - 3,4 GHz, Kaby Lake, 14 nm), et se situe donc dans l'entrée de gamme pour les portables.

Le processeur a été lancé avec le Lenovo IdeaPad-15ICN, avec un GPU dédié AMD Radeon RX 540, ainsi qu'avec le NUC Crimson Canyon (également avec un GPU dédié d'AMD).
