AMD R3 3250U

L'AMD Ryzen 3 3250U est un appareil mobile à double cœur qui a été annoncé en janvier 2019. Il combine deux cœurs Zen+ (avec SMT / Hyperthreading donc 4 threads) cadencés à 2,6 - 3,5 GHz avec une carte graphique Radeon RX Vega 3 avec 3 CUs (192 Shaders) cadencés à 1200 MHz. Spécifié à 15 Watt TDP, le SoC est destiné aux ordinateurs portables fins de milieu de gamme. La différence avec l'ancienne Ryzen 3 3200U réside uniquement dans la spécification de température maximale réduite de 95 contre 105°C.

Les SoC Picasso utilisent la microarchitecture Zen+ avec de légères améliorations qui devraient conduire à une amélioration de 3% de l'IPS (performance par horloge). En outre, le procédé 12 nm permet des fréquences d'horloge plus élevées pour une consommation d'énergie similaire.

Le contrôleur de mémoire double canal intégré prend en charge jusqu'à la mémoire DDR4-2400. Comme les caractéristiques des APU Picasso sont les mêmes que celles des prédécesseurs de Raven Ridge, nous vous renvoyons à notre article de lancement de Raven Ridge.

Contrairement aux APU Picasso quadricœurs plus rapides, le Ryzen 3 3250U ne prend en charge que 3 écrans au lieu de 4 au total.

AMD affirme que les APU Picasso sont environ 8 % plus rapides que leurs prédécesseurs. Par conséquent, le Ryzen 3 3250U devrait être plus rapide que le Ryzen 3 2200U (2,5 - 3,4 GHz Dual Core avec SMT).
