Intel i7-10850H

L'Intel Core i7-10850H est un processeur haut de gamme pour ordinateurs portables à six cœurs basé sur l'architecture Comet Lake (CML-H, 4e génération de Skylake). Le processeur tourne entre 2,7 et 5,1 GHz (avec Thermal Velocity Boost et Turbo Boost 3.0). En utilisant uniquement Turbo Boost 3.0 (lorsque les températures ne permettent pas l'utilisation de Thermal Velocity Boost), un seul cœur peut atteindre 4,9 GHz. L'ensemble des six cœurs peut atteindre 4,4 cœurs. Le processeur est toujours fabriqué selon l'ancien procédé 14nm (14nm++). 

L'architecture Comet Lake est similaire à Coffee Lake et offre les mêmes caractéristiques et est produite dans le même processus 14nm. Outre l'amélioration des fréquences d'horloge, le contrôleur de mémoire prend désormais en charge la mémoire vive DDR4-2933 plus rapide. Le Core i7-10850H prend en charge les fonctions de gestion vPro, TXT et SIPP. 

Performances

Les performances du Core i7-10850H devraient être légèrement supérieures à celles de l'ancien modèle haut de gamme Core i7-8950H (6 cœurs, 2,9 - 4,8 GHz). Grâce aux 6 cœurs et aux vitesses Turbo élevées, même les applications exigeantes devraient fonctionner sans problème sur ce processeur. Cependant, les performances à long terme dépendent toujours du système de refroidissement de l'ordinateur portable et de la configuration du système.

Graphique

L'iGPU intégré Intel UHD Graphics 630 est censé offrir des performances similaires à celles de l'UHD630 du Core i7-9750H. En tant que solution bas de gamme, il ne pourra faire tourner les jeux actuels qu'avec des détails réduits, voire pas du tout.

Consommation d'énergie

Intel spécifie le TDP avec 45 watts et donc le i7 est seulement adapté aux gros ordinateurs portables avec de bonnes solutions de refroidissement. En utilisant cTDP-down, le CPU peut également être configuré à 35 watts, ce qui réduit les performances.
