Intel Core i7-10875H
L'Intel Core i7-10875H est un processeur haut de gamme pour ordinateurs portables à huit cœurs basé sur l'architecture Comet Lake (CML-H, 4e génération de Skylake). Le processeur fonctionne entre 2,3 et 5,1 GHz (4,3 avec les 8 cœurs, 4,9 sans l'augmentation de la vitesse thermique) et peut exécuter jusqu'à seize threads simultanément grâce à l'Hyper-Threading. Le processeur est toujours fabriqué selon l'ancien procédé 14nm (14nm++). Par rapport à leurs prédécesseurs, les processeurs de la série Comet Lake-H n'offrent que des fréquences d'horloge plus élevées.
L'architecture du Comet Lake est similaire à celle du Coffee Lake et offre les mêmes caractéristiques. Il est fabriqué selon le même processus 14nm. Outre les fréquences d'horloge améliorées, le contrôleur de mémoire prend désormais en charge une mémoire vive DDR4-2933 plus rapide. Le Core i7-10875H prend en charge les fonctions de gestion vPro, TXT et SIPP.
Les performances du Core i7-10875H devraient être proches de celles du Core i9-9880H, plus ancien. Grâce aux 8 cœurs et aux vitesses Turbo élevées, même les applications les plus exigeantes devraient fonctionner très bien sur le CPU. Cependant, les performances à long terme dépendent toujours du système de refroidissement de l'ordinateur portable et de la configuration du système.
L'iGPU Intel UHD Graphics 630 intégré est censé offrir des performances similaires à celles de l'UHD630 du Core i7-9880H. En tant que solution bas de gamme, il ne fera fonctionner les jeux actuels que de manière fluide, avec des détails réduits, voire pas du tout.
Intel spécifie le TDP avec 45 watts et donc le i9 est uniquement adapté aux gros ordinateurs portables avec de bonnes solutions de refroidissement. En utilisant le cTDP-down, le processeur peut également être configuré à 35 watts, ce qui réduit les performances.
