Intel i9-10885H

L'Intel Core i9-10885H est un processeur haut de gamme pour ordinateurs portables à huit cœurs basé sur l'architecture Comet Lake (CML-H, 4e génération de Skylake). Le processeur tourne à une fréquence comprise entre 2,4 et 5,3 GHz et peut exécuter jusqu'à seize threads simultanément grâce à Hyper-Threading. Le processeur est toujours fabriqué selon l'ancien procédé 14nm (14nm++).

L'architecture Comet Lake est similaire à Coffee Lake et offre les mêmes caractéristiques et est produite dans le même processus 14nm. Outre l'amélioration des fréquences d'horloge, le contrôleur de mémoire prend désormais en charge la mémoire vive DDR4-2933 plus rapide. Le Core i9-10855H prend en charge les fonctions de gestion vPro, TXT et SIPP. 

Performances

Les performances du Core i9-10885H devraient être légèrement supérieures à celles de l'ancien modèle supérieur Core i9-9980HK, grâce à un turbo monocœur potentiellement plus élevé. Grâce aux 8 cœurs et aux vitesses Turbo élevées, même les applications exigeantes devraient fonctionner très bien sur le CPU. Cependant, les performances à long terme dépendent toujours du système de refroidissement de l'ordinateur portable et de la configuration du système. Au moment de l'annonce, le i9-10885H est le deuxième CPU Comet Lake-H le plus rapide derrière le Core i9-10980HK.

Graphisme

L'iGPU intégré Intel UHD Graphics 630 est censé offrir des performances similaires à celles de l'UHD630 du Core i7-9880H. En tant que solution bas de gamme, il ne fera tourner les jeux actuels de manière fluide qu'à des détails réduits - voire pas du tout.

Consommation d'énergie

Intel spécifie le TDP avec 45 watts et donc le i9 est seulement adapté aux gros ordinateurs portables avec de bonnes solutions de refroidissement. En utilisant cTDP-down, le CPU peut également être configuré à 35 watts, ce qui réduit les performances.
