Intel i5-10400F

Le Core i5-10400F d'Intel est un processeur de milieu de gamme pour ordinateurs de bureau à six cœurs basé sur l'architecture Comet Lake (CML-S, 4e génération de Skylake). Le processeur fonctionne entre 4,1 et 4,8 GHz et peut exécuter jusqu'à 12 threads simultanément grâce à l'Hyper-Threading. 

Le processeur est toujours fabriqué selon l'ancien procédé 14nm (14nm++).

L'architecture de Comet Lake est similaire à celle de Coffee Lake et offre les mêmes caractéristiques. Elle est produite selon le même processus 14nm. Outre les fréquences d'horloge améliorées, le contrôleur de mémoire prend désormais en charge une mémoire vive DDR4-2933 plus rapide. Performances

Grâce aux vitesses d'horloge élevées (et aux réglages TDP possibles avec la plupart des cartes mères), le Core i5-10400F offre une bonne performance de jeu et, grâce aux 6 cœurs, également une bonne performance d'application.

Graphiques

L'iGPU Intel UHD Graphics 630 intégré est censé offrir des performances similaires à celles de l'UHD630 dans le Core i7-9900K. En tant que solution bas de gamme, il ne fera fonctionner les jeux actuels que de manière fluide, avec des détails réduits, voire pas du tout.

Consommation d'énergie

Intel spécifie le TDP à 65 watts (PL1) mais à pleine charge jusqu'à 134 watts sont consommés (PL2) pendant 28 secondes (Tau).
