AMD R5 4680U

Le AMD Ryzen 5 4680U est un processeur pour ordinateurs portables fins et légers basé sur l'architecture Renoir. Le 4680U intègre six cœurs basés sur la microarchitecture Zen 2. Ils sont cadencés de 2,1 (horloge de base garantie) à 4 GHz (Turbo) avec un support SMT / Hyperthreading (12 threads). La puce est fabriquée selon le procédé moderne de 7 nm chez TSMC et c'est en partie grâce à cela qu'AMD annonce une performance par Watt améliorée de 2x pour les puces Renoir. Comparé à l'ancien Ryzen 5 4600U, le 4680U semble identique.

Avec deux cœurs en moins, le Ryzen 5 4600U est clairement plus lent que le Ryzen 7 4980U dans les charges de travail multi-filières. Cependant, il devrait tout de même battre le plus rapide des 15 watts Ice Lake Intel Core i7-1065G7 (4 cœurs, 3,9 GHz). Grâce à l'horloge Boost à 4 GHz, les performances en single core devraient être similaires. Par conséquent, le Ryzen 5 4680U est un CPU de 15 watts très rapide et clairement plus rapide que l'ancien Ryzen 7 3700U.

En plus des six cœurs de CPU, l'APU intègre également une carte graphique intégrée Radeon RX Vega 6 avec 6 CU et jusqu'à 1500 MHz ? Le contrôleur de mémoire à double canal prend en charge la RAM DDR4-3200 et la RAM LPDDR4-4266 économe en énergie. De plus, un cache de niveau 3 de 8 Mo est présent sur la puce. Le TDP de l'APU est spécifié à 15 Watt (par défaut) et peut être configuré de 10 à 25 Watt par le vendeur de l'ordinateur portable. Cela signifie que la puce est destinée aux ordinateurs portables fins et légers (mais avec des ventilateurs).
