Intel Core i7-1165G7
L'Intel Core i7-1165G7 est un SoC quadricœur à faible consommation d'énergie pour les ordinateurs portables et les ultrabooks basés sur la génération Tiger Lake-U (UP4) qui a été introduite en septembre 2020. Il intègre quatre cœurs de processeur Willow Cove (huit threads grâce à l'Hyper-Threading). Chaque cœur peut cadencer de 2,8 GHz (vitesse de base garantie) à 4,7 GHz (boost monocœur). Tous les cœurs à la fois peuvent atteindre une fréquence de 4,1 GHz. Au moment de l'annonce, le i7-1165G7 est le deuxième modèle le plus rapide de la gamme après le Core i7-1185G7 (+100 - 200 MHz).
Une autre nouveauté est la carte graphique Xe intégrée, basée sur la toute nouvelle architecture Gen 12. Elle devrait offrir des performances nettement supérieures à celles de l'ancienne Iris Plus G7 (Ice Lake). Dans le i7-1185G7, elle utilise 96 UE et des horloges à 400 - 1300 MHz (-50 MHz par rapport au 1185G7). Le GPU et le CPU peuvent utiliser ensemble les 12 Mo de cache L3.
En outre, les SoC de Tiger Lake ajoutent la prise en charge de PCIe 4 (quatre voies), l'accélération matérielle de l'IA et l'intégration partielle de Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 et de Wi-Fi 6 dans la puce.
La puce est produite selon le processus 10nm+ amélioré (appelé SuperFin) chez Intel qui devrait être comparable au processus 7nm chez TSMC (par exemple, la série Ryzen 4000).
La gamme de fonctionnement de la série UP3 est spécifiée à 12 à 28 Watt. Par conséquent, le processeur est également adapté aux ordinateurs portables minces et légers.
