AMD R3 4300U

L'AMD Ryzen 3 4300U est un processeur pour les PC portables fins et légers, basé sur l'architecture Renoir. Le 4300U intègre quatre cœurs tous basés sur la microarchitecture Zen 2 (CPU quadricœur). Ils sont cadencés entre 2,7 GHz (fréquence de base garantie) et 3,7 GHz (Turbo), sans SMT / HyperThreading (4 threads également). La puce est gravée en 7 nm par TSMC, et en partie grâce à cela, AMD annonce des performances par Watt doublées pour ces puces Renoir. Par rapport aux CPU Ryzen 5 4000 plus rapides (par exemple le Ryzen 5 4600U), le Ryzen 3 ne possède que quatre cœurs et une fréquence inférieure.

Grâce aux nouveaux cœurs Zen 2, le Ryzen 3 4300U devrait offrir des performances similaires à celles du Ryzen 5 3500U. Pour un processeur du bas du milieu de gamme, le niveau de performances est plutôt bon, et devrait s'avérer suffisant pour les tâches les plus exigeantes.

En plus des quatre cœurs CPU, l'APU intègre aussi une carte graphique intégrée Radeon RX Vega 5 avec 5 unités de calcul et montant à 1 400 MHz. Le contrôleur mémoire double canal prend en charge la RAM DDR4-3200 et la LPDDR4-4266 efficiente. De plus, un cache de niveau 3 de 8 Mo est présent. L'enveloppe thermique (TDP) de l'APU est indiquée à 15 W (par défaut), et peut être configurée entre 10 et 25 W par le constructeur. Cela signifie que la puce cible les portables fins et légers - mais avec ventilateurs.
