Intel i5-8600K

L'Intel Core i5-8600K est un processeur de bureau haut de gamme à six cœurs, basé sur l'architecture Coffee Lake, annoncé en septembre 2017. Le processeur est cadencé entre 3,6et 4,3 GHz, et peut exécuter simultanément 6 cœurs logiques (pas d'hyper-threading). D'après Intel, le CPU est fabriqué en 14 nm amélioré (14 nm++). L’i5-8600K est comparativement facile à utiliser pour l'overclocking, grâce à son multiplicateur débloqué.

Performances

Grâce aux deux cœurs additionnels, les performances du i5-8600K sont bien meilleures que celle du Core i7-7700K, quand tous les cœurs sont en fonctionnement. Les performances monocœur n'ont en revanche pas progressé depuis Kaby Lake. Modèle haut de gamme, l'i5-8600K est adapté aux logiciels et jeux les plus exigeants.

Circuit graphique

L'iGPU Intel UHD Graphics 630 intégré est à peu près identique à l'Intel HD Graphics 630 de la génération précédente. Seulement les jeux les moins exigeants peuvent tourner sur cette carte graphique (voir le lien vers notre page des cartes graphiques ci-dessus).

Consommation énergétique

Intel indique une enveloppe thermique de 95 W. De ce fait, les systèmes de refroidissement bien dimensionnés devraient facilement gérer la chaleur créée. Nous nous attendons à une efficience améliorée grâce aux performances plus élevées.
