AMD Ryzen 3 3100
Le Ryzen 3 3100 est un processeur de bureau d'entrée de gamme bon marché de la série Matisse avec 4 cœurs et 8 threads. Il fonctionne de 3,6 (base) à 3,9 GHz (boost) et utilise la microarchitecture Zen 2. Il utilise deux clusters CCX avec deux cœurs chacun. Il y a donc quelques inconvénients par rapport au Ryzen 3 3300X, plus rapide, qui utilise les quatre cœurs d'un seul cluster CCX. L'unité centrale est fabriquée selon le procédé moderne de 7 nm au TSMC. La puce d'entrée/sortie sur le boîtier est séparée et fabriquée en 12 nm à Globalfoundries. Le TDP est spécifié à 65 Watt et donc le CPU n'a pas besoin d'un gros refroidisseur.
Dans les applications multi-threads, les performances du Ryzen 3 3100 peuvent atteindre l'ancien Core i7-7700K (un ancien CPU haut de gamme). Dans les jeux et les applications à fil unique, les performances sont légèrement inférieures car le Ryzen 3 3300X, plus performant, est comparable au 7700K. Néanmoins, le 3100 peut être un bon choix pour un système de jeu d'entrée de gamme.
