Intel i7-9700

Le Core i7-9700 d'Intel est un processeur de bureau haut de gamme basé sur l'architecture Coffee Lake. Il intègre 8 cœurs (pas d'Hyperthreading donc aussi 8 threads) cadencés à 3 - 4,7 GHz. Par rapport au Core i7-9700K, le 9700 n'a pas de multiplicateur ouvert pour faciliter l'overclocking, offre des vitesses d'horloge plus faibles et un TDP réduit.

Par rapport à l'ancien Core i7-8700, le 9700 offre deux cœurs réels supplémentaires mais pas d'Hyperthreading. Par conséquent, le gain de performance n'est pas si important - selon l'application. Les performances du noyau unique ont été légèrement améliorées grâce aux horloges Turbo plus élevées. En tant que CPU de bureau haut de gamme, le i7-9700 est bien adapté aux tâches et aux jeux exigeants.

La carte graphique Intel UHD Graphics 630 intégrée est cadencée jusqu'à 1,2 GHz et n'offre aucun avantage par rapport aux générations précédentes. Comme il s'agit d'un GPU très bas de gamme, seuls certains jeux peu exigeants comme Hearthstone peuvent être joués avec lui (voir la page GPU pour les benchmarks).

Intel spécifie le TDP à 65 Watt (au lieu des 95W des modèles plus rapides) et donc le CPU n'aura pas besoin d'un système de refroidissement de bureau haut de gamme.
