AMD FX-8350

Le AMD FX-8350 est un puissant octo-core de bureau (4 modules) de la série "Vishera" FX. Contrairement aux APUs comme le A10-5800K, les modèles FX ne possède pas de GPU. Cependant,le FX-8350 intègre un contrôleur mémoire DDR3-1866 et un multiplicateur débridé pour un overclock facile.

La conception de la puce reste basée sur l'architecture Bulldozer (Cœurs Piledriver), qui consiste en des "modules". Chacun des quatre modules intègrent 2 unités intègres, mais seulement un seul FPU. Vishera supporte Presque toutes les techniques récentes tel que le AVX (avec FMA), AES ou Turbo Core.

En termes de performances, le FX-8350 est loin derrière les modèles concurrents les plus rapide de chez Intel. En moyenne, les performances sont à égalité avec les processeurs Core i5 de la génération Ivy Bridge, Mais il y a des différences significatives selon l'application: Dans les programmes qui utilisent plusieurs cars à la fois, le FX-8350 est au niveau du Core i7-3770K, pendant que les tâches moins optimisées sont beaucoup plus lentes.

La consommation de la puce tout entière est noté à 125 watts (TDP).
