AMD R5 2600X

L'AMD Ryzen 5 2600X est un processeur de bureau haut de gamme à 6 cœurs physiques (12 cœurs logiques) annoncé début 2018. Il est basé sur les cœurs Zen+ revus. C'était le deuxième processeur Ryzen le plus rapide lors de son lancement, derrière le Ryzen 7 2700X. Les cœurs montent de base à 3,6 GHz, et montent à 4,2 GHz grâce à Precision Boost 2. Les 6 cœurs physiques et les 12 cœurs logiques peuvent monter à 3,9 GHz. Les 6 cœurs sont divisés en 2 clusters (3 cœurs chacun, avec leur cache L3 propre) connectés via l'interface Infinity Fabric.

Par rapport à l'ancienne et première génération Ryzen (par exemple le Ryzen 5 1600X), la deuxième génération est fabriquée grâce à un procédé de gravure amélioré (appelé 12 nm), propose un Precision Boost 2 amélioré (spécialement en cas de charge partielle des cœurs) et des vitesses de cache et de mémoire plus rapides.
